Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pixshift Media ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit pixshift.co or get in touch with us.
We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch law.
1. Who we are

Netherlands
Email: info@pixshift.co
KvK number: 98495429
Full company and registration details are listed in our Legal Notice.
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at the email address above.
2. What data we collect
Contact form
When you submit our contact form, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Company name (optional)
- The message you write us
This data is submitted directly to our email inbox via Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not use the submitted data for its own purposes. See their privacy policy for details on how submissions are transmitted.
Automatically collected data
Our website is hosted using Amazon Web Services (AWS). As with most websites, the hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical data for security and operational purposes, such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. We do not use this data for tracking or analytics.
Fonts
The "Albert Sans" and "Inter" fonts used on this site are self-hosted: they are served from our own domain, not from Google's servers. No data is sent to Google when the site loads its fonts.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how many people visit this site and roughly where from (e.g. page views, referrers, country, device type, approximate visit duration).
Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect or store personal data, and does not track you across devices or other websites. It processes page-view data in aggregate and anonymized form only. For example, your IP address is used momentarily to derive your approximate location and is never stored. Plausible is hosted in the EU. See their privacy-focused approach and data policy for details.
Cookies
This site does not set any non-essential cookies (no advertising or tracking cookies). Our analytics tool, Plausible, is cookieless by design, so no cookie consent banner is required.
3. Why we process this data and our legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry | Name, email, company, message | Art. 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering a contract), or Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries) |
| Website security and operation | Technical/log data | Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functioning) |
| Understanding site usage (analytics) | Aggregated, anonymized page-view data | Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used) |
4. Who we share data with
- Web3Forms: processes and delivers contact form submissions to us.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): our cloud hosting provider, may process technical/log data as part of that hosting.
- Plausible Analytics: processes aggregated, anonymized website usage data on our behalf; does not receive personal data.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. International data transfers
Plausible Analytics is hosted within the EU, so no international transfer occurs for analytics data. Some of the other third parties listed above (e.g. AWS, Web3Forms) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
We keep contact form submissions for 12 months after the last exchange with you, unless a business relationship follows, in which case we retain the data for as long as needed for that relationship and any legal or tax record-keeping obligations that apply afterward.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@pixshift.co.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when our tools or data practices change (such as adding analytics). The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
